The German carmaker has just announced that they will recall all the cars of Macan S and Macan Turbo line with the number of affected is nearly 59,000 units worldwide.
Among the 58 881 cars summoned by Porsche, Macan has 21,385 cars in the US and 3,490 cars in Canada market. According to Porsche, this fuel leakage may occur in the fuel path at low pressure in the engine compartment. These same compositions are used for both V6, 3.0L engine of Macan S and 3.6L V6 twin turbocharged of Macan Turbo.

"This is purely a precautionary approach because there is no notification of accidents or injuries related to the fuel leakage problem," Porsche comment.
Porsche does not explain the nature of the risks, however, the fuel leakage can cause fire hazards or make motor stops working. After being summoned, all the Macan cars affected by this error will be replaced with new fuel lines. And it may take one hours to complete.
This is the second time Porsche must give notice to summon the new Macan all over the world. The first campaign focused on the fault of the manufacturer related to the braking system.
