The GLS-Class is the perfect taste to add to the GLS series. Take a look at what Mercedes-Benz has to offer this time.
Mercedes-Benz’s GLS-Class is the new 7-seat SUV car in the collection of GLA, GLC, GLE. All GLS models have a signature elegant design, GLS engine and the 4MATIC drive system.Bearing the same GLS element which stands for the same engine chosen for previous models, the GLS-Class is the perfect taste to add to the GLS series. Take a look at what Mercedes-Benz has to offer this time with GLS-Class.
Outer design
Overall, the car design has not changed much, compared to the previous versions. However, it is easy to see the design on the front bears some similarities with the GLE model. There is a large three-pointed star logo in the middle, two metal rods decorated with vents in order to create the particular features for the vehicle. Also similar to the GLE, the car’s headlights use LED Intelligent Light and large air holes at the bottom.
Interior
What’s notable in the interior is the touchpad, which is similar to other Mercedes-Benz’s vehicles equipped with the "sensual purity" design language. Basically, the Online Command system is adapted from GLE but the control system is the same as GLC’s. Right next to the touchpad, there are driving modes controls to suit different travel conditions.
The 3-spoke wheel is designed elegantly and luxuriously with a leather cover and many function buttons. The car's air conditioner is integrated with the ion air filter while wood and leather just create a perfect atmosphere inside the car. The car is truly luxurious, as it is also equipped with an 8-inch central screen and Harman / Kardon sound system.
Technology
Of course, this premium model will not lack safety technologies such as CPA+ (Collision Prevention Assist Plus), collision warning based on infrared cameras, and automatic brake. Distronic Plus with driver assistance systems controls the distance with the car in front whileAttention Assist reports the status of the driver to avoid drowsiness. Indispensable familiar technologies such as blind spot warning, lane keeping assist, safe brake technologies as well as electronic vehicle stability are also integrated.
As planned, the GLS-Class Mercedes-Benz will start to be ordered in many markets from September 11/2015 and will be available from March 3/2016.
